He was born without magic. One day, he creates his own.
When trying to heal his brother, sixteen-year-old Jaxon accidentally creates a healing stone. He’s the first man to ever wield the stone’s magic.
To master his new abilities, Jaxon leaves his kingdom behind in search of a teacher. His path crosses with the fiery Quinn, a red stone bearer doing everything she can to protect her best friend, Princess Annabel.
As a series of gruesome murders plague the kingdom, Jaxon and Quinn find themselves caught up in unraveling the truth behind the attacks. The more clues they find, the more the danger seems to grow. They soon stumble on long-hidden secrets that could throw the world as they know it into chaos.
