Les auteurs : Eric Bolduc (Québec), Gaëlle Campos Béragne (Québec), Joëlle Circé (Québec), Christine Comeau (Québec), Cha Cha da Vinci (Québec), Simon Duplessis (Québec), Pamela Grau (USA), Pierre Issalys (Québec), Kako (La Réunion), Emmanuel Laflamme (Québec), Elvira Laskowski-Caujolle (USA), Jimmy Leslie (USA), Izabella Marengo (Québec), David Merk (Québec), Yemisi Oyeniyi (USA), Jon Shaw (Canada), Olivier Stroh (France), Michele Theberge (USA).
The Book: What is creativity? Is it the exclusive domain of artists, or is it a fundamental force that drives our every action? Créativité / Creativity is a bilingual collection (English/French) born from the desire to explore this universal notion from multiple, intersecting, and unexpected perspectives.
The Idea: Artist and editor Françoise Issaly invited creators and professionals from radically different geographical and professional horizons to share their vision of this invisible current. Whether visual artists, writers, dancers, jurists, or economists, each contributor offers their own unique mapping of the creative act.
The Result: Through a series of prose, poems, personal reflections, and philosophical insights, this collective work weaves a vibrant tapestry. Some texts delve into the depth and vulnerability of personal introspection, while others offer a lighter, more literary, or conceptual approach. Together, they challenge us to expand our vision, revealing that creativity is not merely an aesthetic tool, but the very essence that shapes and rules our everyday lives.
