CHAPTER 1
TODAY'S PRAYER #2
Father please, bless this prayer and make it holy.
Father let my enemies take to the hills seeking refuge that they will never find.
Let their thoughts and plans they have for me favor their enemies, and let them reap thefruits of hatred and deceit.
My lord, stand up for me in my times of struggles, and let them that plot against and slanderme wrongfully be put to shame and repent unto thee.
For with love I've cared and shared with them that slander me, and they care not for my hurt.
My lord, let my kindness burden their consciences so that they become speechless when it'stime for slander, and let my name be like lava unto their tongues! Until they speak it not.
Father my enemies have multiplied because of your blessings unto me, so help me lord, thewolves have eaten the flock and is now after the shepherd, Help me my lord I pray, Amen.
BEAUTIFUL DAYS
On a beautiful day such as this one, I still miss the buzzing of the bees, also the birdshumming. I miss the fresh sea breeze and the smell of the rain when it's coming. I miss thesound of the river as the water bounces back and forth off the rocks. Oh how I wish I wereyoung again, when it didn't matter what time it was saying on the clock.
On a beautiful day such as this one my mind tends to wonder away, far, far away ... to themost beautiful places I've ever been. Then to the prettiest girls I've ever seen, then to thesexiest voices I've ever heard sing.
But it always comes back to you my love, the perfect combination of all the above, whichtotally defines the true meaning of love. That's why I place a smile upon today in memoriesof the ones that got away.
On a beautiful day such as this one, I sit and wonder if in your world I still exist. Still on abeautiful day such as this, all that's missing is your kiss.
ROMANTICA
I've kissed her lips, I've watched her eyes, I've ran my hands over her thighs, then calledher name and she replied, I love you babe then starts to cry.
Our love grew old still lust was strong, who made those rules and made that wrong.
I've washed her feet and relaxed her hair, then oil her scalp until she fell asleep in herchair.
She loves red roses I bought her pink, she loves Chanel I bought her Mink, she looked, smiled and said, "why don't you think."
I said at the end of the day whenever you see red roses, you'll think of me and also those, which broke your heart along life's road.
But with pink you won't have to stop to think, for it's only me you will see holding yourMink.
SMOOTH
I want to make love to you and leave you to wonder, if I were the one that had invented love.
I want to take away all those memories, and all those negative things that you've beenthinking of.
I want to hold you so tight so that even when I let you go, you're still walking aroundfeeling held.
I want to love you until, you no longer wonder what is love. Girl I want to love you until yourheart says, "girl now this is love". Then I'll still hold you a little while longer.
Please believe me my love when I say, I want to love you until your love can't get anystronger, until infatuation and lust get jealous of us.
I want to love you until your love is no longer just a word, or just a feeling. Girl I just wantto love you until, you go and rewrite the dictionary, just to give love a new meaning.
KARMA
Use me a little bit more, but make me feel special. Use me a little bit more until you feelspecial.
Now confuse me a little bit more after you get settled, then confuse me one more time andlet me think I'm going out of my mind.
Please, use me until all your dreams come through, then use me until suddenly I'm not for you.
Just use me and think that God is asleep, just remember that what goes around comesaround, and soon your match you will meet.
Keep using me a little more until I'm nowhere in sight, I have only one question to ask you,how do you sleep at nights.
TAKEN BACK
I'm missing you while missing me, I was me once upon a time when we were together, wayback then when you were mine.
But we were wrong to think that we were like wine, and that our love would get finer withtime.
Let love last long we use to say, and now it hurts like hell when I hear our song play.
I'm missing me missing you, as those memories fade like S Curl, Adidas, Bell Foot Pants, and Kid and Play back in the days.
I'm missing me missing you and you missing me, but most of all I'm missing us.
MUSICAL LOVE
Hey do you love just to love or do you love because it's new, or do you love because yourloved by the one you know loves you.
Hey do you know what love is and what a crazy love can do, but if you don't know what islove then how do you know his love is true.
He said a timeless love is the love he has for you, and for you to find his love look in hiseyes and read the clues.
Because you can't buy his love even if you were a Jew, cause it's a priceless love onlybecause his love is true.
Some people say why love and that love is just for fools, but if they ever find love then youwould see what they would do.
Hey if you want to find true love, first find out what love means to you.
MOONLIGHT #2
I'm looking at the moonlight tonight and it is shining so bright, I hurried and look to theleft and then to the right and you were nowhere in sight.
It seemed like deja vu but not quite. I then remembered that the last time the moonlightwas this bright, the only thing between us was a flight.
But tonight underneath this beautiful moonlight the distance between us, is no longer justa flight you've also found you a knight.
And here I am looking at the moonlight tonight, and it is shining just as bright. Leaving mewith a lesson well learnt, that the distance on the outside also creates distance within.
So be strong and give true love, because true love never dies. Now I'm looking at moon, and for a moment I thought that it was your eyes.
LOVE ANEW
Is it too much for me to ask, let my present be my present and my past be my past. Oh, howyou said you would love me to the end, but please let me know when you're ready to start, because you think that we're together but in fact we are apart.
You know love is not a game still you're playing with my heart, Hon love is like a job wellmaintained. So blame you if you want to, and I'll blame me too, then we can blame eachother and see what good it will do.
Sometimes our love grows old then we tend to start a new, because some people say thatnew is better but trust me they don't have a clue.
I've told my past in the past and it came back to haunt me. For in the past you said you loveme, now in the present you said you need me, and with just a little more time you mightsay you don't want me.
I WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN
It has been awhile since I've seen your face, and these memories in my mind they're tryingto erase, but that is one thing I won't let be, I will never stop until you're here with me. I'llclimb the highest mountain, swim the deepest sea, until you are mine I'll search endlessly. So please believe me that I want to see you again.
They are memories untold and they are memories unseen, they are memories of youeverywhere we had been. Memories of sadness, memories of joy, memories of you thatsometimes makes me cry, I want to see you again.
They are tears that I've cried, tears I could not hide, baby I'm so lonely without you hereby my side. They were nights that were cold and days that were so long. Baby I'm so lonelythat I writing this song. I want to see you again.
BROKEN CRIES
Today I'll cry no more, I'm tired of my eyes being sore. My broken cries that no one hears, makes me believe that our love has disappeared.
It looks as if my broken cries will never leave; it feels like cuts that never bleed. Our heartsgrow weak while dreams are broken, then we do not speak what should be spoken.
But today I'm putting aside all my fears in hopes that my broken cries will dissolve in theair. For now I know that my broken cries are only the thoughts I love to hide, those deepdark secrets that's eating me inside.
So tell me your fears and I'll tell you mine, then together we will finally! Leave those brokencries behind. Now come and let us put our broken dreams and our broken cries on a string, and let them fly away like a kite in the wind.
THINKING BACK
The thoughts of you leave me blue, some old, some new, and some fantastic. I wished I hadkissed you, on those lips that looked so majestic.
You were fantastically romantic, I hope I'm not being too dramatic. Your physique wascomplete, with beauty so unique and discrete.
And even though I was at war with your presence, I had no choice but to retreat, and as Iglanced all I wanted was just one chance.
Regardless of the circumstance, I refuse to be taking from this trance, in hopes of a chancefor romance.
Now I'm left to wonder, was it love, was it lust or even infatuation. Infatuation was dismissedthen I tried lust, but it didn't fit, I thought they said love's just a myth.
I said come here, you said goodbye, I said hold up, you asked me why, I asked why not, yousaid I'm rude, I said I like, you said well, that you would have to prove.
MY LAST WORDS TO YOU
I would like to get to know you as the stars do the sky, I want to kiss your lips and fadeaway as rainy clouds do a clear blue sky. I want to see you for the first time every time Ido see you
I want to trust you a little more than Adam did Eve when he ate that Apple, but just a littleless than Eve did the Serpent. I want a trust that's as strong as Samson with his hair, butjust a little less than Samson gave Delilah.
I hope that my words will consume you like Delilah's did Samson, Eve's did Adam, theSerpent's did Eve and as the Septuagint, Jerome's Vulgate and John Wycliffe first Englishtranslation did the church.
I want all these things, in return for all that I've given, still I'll understand if you decidenot to give them. Still I'll have you know that, that high horse you're riding on, it's not hisfirst time ridden.
LIFE
In life I've learnt to give and take, the good and bad that makes or breaks this smile you seeupon my face, because life's too short to be living sad and that's why I'm all so glad.
That I've, lived and loved, and loved and lived, and give and gave and gave and give, myword and honor and honor my word, I am yours forever and forever I am yours.
Now your smile is gone with the wind and now with the wind your smile is gone, and I cryand cried and cried and cry, my tears so dry so dry my tears, my love is gone and goneis my love.
Now I'll sing this song and this song I'll now sing. I love you so and so you I love.
SIMPLY PROTECTING MYSELF
I'm emotionally empty yet spiritually full, therefore I read what's written and listen to what'sspoken, my heart has been re-enforced with steel so no longer can it be broken.
Now all I do is love but never again will I be in love, simply because no matter ones gender tobe in love is to surrender.
I gave ample time I've also searched but didn't find that one true love so that I could makeher mine.
Some people say I'm conceited when they get heated, but I find that to be very misleading, whenI've slept in cars, on chairs, even on my floor which was on top of their ceiling.
I now know that when emotions get the best of us the world and ourselves, can only get what'sleft of us.
I also know that as long as you don't get emotions involved, there won't be any problems tobe solved.
And so I stay in tune with time so that I can obtain the things in life that are fine.
Knowing that life has no boundaries and that a lot of things can only get finer with time,Hence these sayings "You're getting finer with time" and "The older the moon is the brighterit shines."
I'm so happy now that I've gotten the best on me, while leaving the world and emotions withwhat's left of me.
Please don't take this the wrong way, some emotions are good for you but for me, emotions arelike evil people no matter how hard they try they can never willingly do any good.
ISLAND LOVE
I'm in a perfect world, and dating the perfect girl. My island girl she is, young free andsingle with no kids.
She is saying she loves me, and I should stay and live, but I've heard so many stories frommy island friends, and never liked the way those stories ends.
My island girl she is hot and spicy. From Jamaica to Trinidad I heard steel bands play, Socaand Reggae all night and all day.
I'm thinking to myself, that this is the way that people should live. Life there was so muchfun, that I didn't want the end of my vacation time to come.
Now I'm on my way to the airport with smiles on my face, and memories of joy which noother memories can replace. I don't know about you, but I'm keeping this smile.
So here I go again leaving my perfect world, with some liquor and some music plus myperfect girl. I couldn't leave her here after all the things we did, and on top of all that, she'scarrying my kid.
TRUE JAMAICAN
Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, words that were spoken with tremendousbravery. And just like King David left his people with wise words and guidelines, he lefthis in his blood line.
Jamaica land we love, still I can only speak for myself, so Jamaica land I love. Simplybecause some of us throw stones behind us, sometimes so far that not even our familiescan find us, and so Jamaica the land that they once loved, is now Jamaica the land thatthey will never love.
Granddad said that he died because of a toe, but I've read between the lines and found outthat in life, there are things that we will never know, and the ones that knows, will nevertell. So R.I.P Bob, Marcus, Paul, Michael and many many more.
This is a tribute to you all whom I didn't know, but I see you all every time I attend a realreggae show.
Jamaica the land that I love and you loved.
Eternal father blessed our land, however it can only start with us. So lets join hands andremember, divided we fall but united we stand.
CHOOSE WISELY
I'm from an island that was once proud, but since of lately there isn't much to be proud of.
Apart from track & field and our soccer team, the youths of Jamaica has limited dreams.
Education and Agriculture is at its all time low, Jamaica importing bananas from places wedon't know. American apples and grapes that I can understand, but importing tomatoes! Now come on man.
Inflation causes frustration yet no demonstration, I had to sit back and ask what's wrongwith this generation.
They're infatuated by vanity and don't even care about their sanity, over populating ourpopulation is it that they've lost their qualities.
We've just sat back and watched our politicians lead us astray, have us fighting with ourneighbors that we'll see every other day.
So Jamaica for Jamaicans and don't take it for a joke, our voices can be heard not onlythrough our mouths but through our votes.
MY LAST DAY
Today is my last day and had I known, I would've visited all my friends and families withwhom I have grown.
I would've went to the bank and rented a Jet, and fly to all those places that I've neverbeen yet.
I would've gone to Orlando and rode all those rides, and scream if I had to and ignore my pride.
I would've taken my chances and love again, but now it's too late and I'm alone at the end.
I'm feeling so sad and I can no longer pretend, that I am doing great alone and isn't missingmy friends.
I can't believe that today is my last day and I didn't even get a sign, it was just two weeks agomy doctor said that I was doing fine. You're as healthy as a horse that was what he had said, now here I am on my hospital bed, just sitting and waiting for my results to be read.
They say that I have Cancer in my Lungs and a Tumor on my brain, I said how can this bewhen I'm not feeling any pain.
Now I'm thinking back on how I haven't enjoyed my life, now I'm dying alone with no kidsor no wife. I have all this money in the bank plus a perfect credit score, and it can't evenhelp me now it's clear that I am poor.

We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone.
