Print on Demand. This book, which examines the issues surrounding the proposed changes to the Economic Development Administration (EDA), provides a new vision for the organization under the Clinton administration. The author, a nationally recognized expert on the EDA, discusses historical criticisms of the organization, including its outdated eligibility requirements and inefficient bureaucracy, and how these issues would be addressed by the planned changes. Additionally, the book discusses how the Clinton administration plans to make the EDA more effective by integrating it with other federal economic development programs and by giving it a new mission to promote high-growth businesses in distressed communities. Ultimately, the book argues that these changes will help the EDA better address the economic challenges of the 21st century and create jobs for Americans. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
