Deep inside a remote mountain in New Mexico, the National Security Agency is cracking heads. They've already discovered how to download a person's memory. Now they are just a microchip away from the ultimate invasion of privacy: the ability to read minds! In this not-so-far-fetched high-tech thriller, Cynthia Hoover, a senator's aide, teams up with a country western singer to ferret out a spy. Someone with top-secret clearance is leaking information to America's enemies in the Middle East and must be stopped before they get their hands on the most sophisticated weapon ever developed. Clues lie inside a terrorist's long-term memory and in an abandoned gold mine that is much more than meets the eye.
