Using an ancient coding system called "gematria" that generates correspondences between letters and numbers, Bodson finds a detailed prophesy of World War II buried in Revelation. (One of the book's contentions is that Revelation refers to two Beasts marked with "666"--the first, according to "gematria," is identified as Hitler. The second, Bodson argues, is among us now.) Looking forward, Bodson believes Revelation also contains specific prophesies identifying the following facts: the date on which World War III will begin; the developing nation that will achieve world domination; the fate of America in the final days; and the time when the Middle East will achieve peace. Bodson says that he unlocked the "apocalypse code" with the help of a French semiologist, an English computer specialist, a Greek historian, and a theologian from Israel. They originally planned to keep their findings secret, fearing mass panic; but when their coding method prophesied recent international events that actually occurred, they decided to release this fascinating book.
