Using intimate stories from their marriage, and research-backed concepts, Pastoral Counselors Kenyon and Taccara Martin help couples become a "Covering" for their spouse with four basic pillars: Safety, Security, Trust and Empathy.

In the Bible, there are over 40 different words translated as covering or to cover. Among these meanings you’ll find the general theme is to hide, protect and to present. A covering within a marriage hides the most private and intimate parts of your spouse, protects them from outside influences, and presents them back to God the Father. If your marriage is suffering, if you’re looking for ways to strengthen your bond, or if you know something is missing in your marriage and you can’t quite identify what it is, this book is for you.

With “Covered,” you will learn how to become a place of refuge for your spouse in a way that allows them to explore and express who they are with you. You will explore ways of reCovering your fragile marriage if any of these pillars have been breached, broken or have eroded over time. And finally, you will learn how to heal each other in ways that will allow you to reopen the doors of friendship and intimacy once again.

Few books provide this level of honesty and accountability for husbands and wives. It will challenge you to be open and real about areas in your marriage that often lay dormant until trouble arises. Packed with exercises and discussion questions for couples OR small groups, “Covered” is the definitive and practical guide for anyone who wants to Cover or reCover their marriage.
