"Edition strictly limited to 500 copies." Two octavo volumes (5½ x 8½ inches / 22cm), vol. 1, 397 pages, vol. 2, 352 pages including Index. Bound in matching custom Signed Fine Bindings: 'Bayntun Binder Bath, Eng.' at the top edge of the verso of the free front end-paper of both volumes. Full straight-grained Morocco, a pleasing dark persimmon red. The covers all have a subtle blind decorative border and gold triple borders with corner roundels. The spines have gold titles and elaborate decorations in six panels between raised bands. 'Extra Illustrated 1895' stamped in gold at bottom. Even the covers' corner edges are gold tooled. All page edges are bright gilt, the leather turn-ins have bright gilt dentelles, end-papers are a distinctive dappled red design which matches the paper-covered slipcase; two thin red ribbon place markers per volume. Provenance: both volumes have the distinctive Siamese cat bookplates of Dorolese Weller affixed to the inside front covers; also, a small stylized swan design is blind-embossed in the upper corner of the blank flyleaves of each volume; no indication of the present owner's forty years' possession. An old penciled note on the ffep verso states 'with 80 extra illustrations (22 colored).' The set is in a sturdy marbled paper covered slipcase (slight rubbing to its bottom corners). Condition: other than some off-setting from some plates, the entire production is in exceptionally Fine condition, virtually as it left the bindery. Items purchased are guaranteed to be as described. Buyers may return items for full refund (not including return shipping) within 14 days if not as described. Prior notification to us of intent to return an item is required. Returned items must be in same condition as sold; books sold as sealed in publisher's shrinkwrap are non-returnable if un-sealed. Some very few items that are described and sold "as-is, with all faults, non-returnable" are NOT returnable for refund. Non-USA buyers are responsible for any and all import customs duties and fees of their own respective countries.

Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to GoodBks, APOLLO BEACH, Florida, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.

Orders shipped within 1-2 business days.
US orders: STANDARD shipping is USPS Media Mail for $4.25, usually including tracking & delivery confirmation. PRIORITY shipping in US is $12.95.
INTERNATIONAL orders (except Canada) are all USPS International Priority (air). Orders for small and standard octavo books weighing under 4 pounds may choose STANDARD (USPS flat rate envelope US$25.00, well-padded as space allows); large books or books weighing over 4 pounds must choose PRIORITY (USPS flat rate box US$65.00). Up to three octavo books may be shipped for the same Priority cost (if they fit in Medium Priority Box). Certain oversize volumes and multi-volume sets may require special shipping arrangements.
