A high-octane military intelligence thriller set in the heart of modern China.
Most espionage thrillers look West. Court Jester looks inward.
Qiu Tian is a legend in the shadows of the General Staff. But upon her return to China, she finds herself caught in a deadly game of political maneuvering. An assassination attempt, a missing agent in the United States, and a global smuggling network involving military drones and biological research all point to a singular, terrifying truth, a much larger game of institutional dominance.
Grounded in meticulous realism, Miss Qiu series offers a rare and authentic perspective on the complexities of modern geopolitical power. Court Jester is a sophisticated, intense, and deeply researched thriller that explores the cost of loyalty in an era of shifting shadows.
