Print on Demand. This book scrutinizes the nature and character of moral philosophy, addressing misconceptions and presenting arguments for its study as a subject independent of religious truth and natural law. The author argues that moral philosophy explores the internal nature of our actions and that it has a significant role to play in the regulation of society, the understanding of religious truth, and the development of critical thinking. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
