Frontispiece, illustrated with 102 plates and plans printed within a black border, 55 folding (lacks plate 93). Very thick square 8vo, contemporary mottled calf, rebacked in plain calf with raised bands, rubbed, marbled edges. Custom gray cloth clamshell case with paper spine label. Paris: Jean Mariette, 1720. Very good(-). Leather is rubbed and worn; scattered foxing, age-browning, and dampstaining; eight of the folding plates cropped close with partial loss of image .
