Print on Demand. This book compellingly explores the complexities of human nature and the profound impact of physical resemblance on perception and identity. The author artfully weaves a narrative around two men, whose striking similar appearance leads to a series of extraordinary events that challenge their sense of self and their relationships with others. Amidst themes of mistaken identity, social injustice, compassion, and redemption, the story unravels the delicate interplay between perception, reality, and the true essence of individuals, inviting readers to question the validity of judgments based on superficial attributes. Ultimately, this book offers a poignant meditation on the complexities of human nature, the nature of perception, and the enduring power of kindness and empathy in shaping our experiences and understanding of the world. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

The idea of people going back to town in this, weather! However, I 'm glad they 're such asses; it gives me free scope here. Every time I don't hear some young woman banging on that piano, I fall into transports of joy.
Cummings, smiling: And after to-day you won't be bothered even with me.
Bartlett: Oh, I shall rather miss you, you know. I like somebody to contradict.
