About the Authors:
Jean Lesaulnier est l'ancien président de la Société des amis de Port-Royal et a consacré de nombreux travaux à l'histoire de Port-Royal. Outre de nombreux articles réunis dans ses Images de Port-Royal, il a dirigé avec Antony McKenna la publication du Dictionnaire de Port-Royal, publié le Journal d'un Solitaire de Port-Royal,M. de Saint-Gilles et une édition annotée de l'Abrégé de l'histoire de Port-Royal de Jean Racine.
Jean Dubray, docteur en philosophie, en lettres et en théologie, a étudié particulièrement la personne et l'oeuvre de l'abbé Grégoire. Il est l'auteur, entre autres, de La Pensée de l'abbé Grégoire. Despotisme et liberté et de Pascal et Baudelaire. Il collabore, en outre, à la Revue philosophique de la France et de l'étranger et à la Revue d'histoire de l'E¿glise de France.
