Review
Paul Tuck – Former Global Head of Talent, Zurich Insurance Group
This is a great read. It is informative, not just as a ‘how to’ manual full of detail
on communicating with impact, but also as a ‘why to’ guide to understanding
the reasons for engaging your people. Chris has managed to strike the right
tone for first time presentation tips whilst providing a great refresher for the
more experienced communicator – a reminder to stay alert and engage with
your audience in order to inspire them.
Niall Cluley - Global HR Director, Fitness First Group
A perfect ‘go to’ source of inspiration on how to present playing to your own
style and strengths! I have known and worked with Chris for the last 15
years following his impressive journey developing as an expert in the field of
leadership and organisational development. Building on his highly successful
corporate energy programme, this book is packed full of practical and thought
provoking ideas that can help any leader, manager, trainer or aspiring public
speaker with their presentations and audience engagement.
Lee Smith, Editor in Chief, Journal of Internal Communication
This is a rare book, one that gets beyond the theory of employee engagement
and actually delivers genuinely useful and actionable lessons all of us can
benefit from at work. Chris has distilled decades of experience into book
which doesn’t just deepen our understanding of how to engage employees,
but provides practical and actionable advice on how to make it happen. If you
want to inject energy into your workplace, this is a great place to start.
