Paperback. Cornelius wanted a Christmas he'd never forget-well, mission accomplished. His brilliant plans to be helpful quickly snowball into festive fails as every "good deed" somehow makes things catastrophically worse. With his faithful but cowardly hound, Jabba the Mutt, Cornelius blunders from pet-sitting "adventures" and soggy-cat disasters to one family meltdown after another. Trouble follows him like a goose with a grudge. But even Cornelius isn't ready for the ultimate holiday mix-up: a midwife, a patch of ice, and a curse that strikes again, leaving him trapped in someone else's body at the worst possible moment. Packed with disasters, dilemmas, and more "what the duck?!" moments than you can count, this Christmas comedy will have middle-grade readers cackling-and adults secretly reading ahead. Content note: This middle-grade comedy contains cartoonish gross-out humour, including pet-related poop and embarrassing situations. Although part of a series, it can be enjoyed as a standalone book.Cornelius has ADHD, like the author, and the story reflects his lively, sometimes sidetracked thought process. It is told through multiple character perspectives, with occasional shifts in viewpoint. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
