Paperback. THE COPYCAT KITCHEN VOLUME THREE: 175 Restaurant Favorites, Recreated at Home You already know the feeling: a meal at your favorite restaurant hits different. The flavors are bigger. The technique is there. The presentation is perfect. So why does recreating it at home feel impossible? This is the third volume in the bestselling Copycat Kitchen series, and it's built on a simple truth-restaurant food isn't magic. It's method, technique, and knowing exactly what makes each dish work. Inside these pages, you'll find 175 restaurant-quality recipes spanning appetizers, soups, salads, main entrees, sides, desserts, and drinks from the chains, local favorites, and iconic spots you actually want to cook from. From Whataburger and Raising Cane's to Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, and beyond-plus hidden gems like Dave's Hot Chicken, Korean BBQ counters, Thai noodle houses, and New Orleans-style kitchens. Every recipe includes the real ingredients, real techniques, and real execution. But this isn't just a recipe collection. Each dish includes two sections that make this book different: **WHY THIS WORKS** explains the exact technique or method that makes the recipe work the way the restaurant does it. Why does the coating stay crisp under sauce? Why does the filling stay contained during frying? Why does the sauce coat evenly instead of pooling? These aren't fluff-they're the difference between a good homemade attempt and an authentic recreation. **MAKE AHEAD** tells you what you can prep ahead of time, what freezes well, and what must be made fresh. Because restaurant food tastes best when you're not stressed. Know exactly how far in advance you can prepare each element, what keeps in the fridge or freezer, and how to reheat without losing quality. WHAT'S INSIDE: - **30 Appetizers & Starters**: Loaded boneless wings, fried pickle chips, bang bang cauliflower, crab rangoon, mozzarella sticks, shrimp cocktail, and more- **20 Soups & Salads**: French onion soup, loaded baked potato soup, tortilla soup with lime crema, Caesar salad, southwest chopped salad, and more- **75 Main Entrees**: Whataburger, Nashville hot chicken, blackened chicken Alfredo, chicken pot pie, birria tacos, al pastor tacos, pad thai, poke bowls, hibachi chicken, Korean fried chicken, orange chicken, katsu curry, loco moco, huli huli chicken, brisket, pulled pork, chicken & waffles, churros, and dozens more- **18 Sides**: Loaded tater tots, garlic mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, elote, street corn pasta salad, creamed spinach, fried okra, and more- **20 Desserts**: Chocolate lava cake, bread pudding with bourbon sauce, peach cobbler, churros, tiramisu, key lime pie, apple pie, tres leches cake, and more- **12 Drinks & Cocktails**: Cold brew with sweet cream, matcha latte, caramel macchiato, strawberry refresher, margarita, old fashioned, espresso martini, and more PLUS: - **Kitchen Conversions** - A complete reference guide for volume, weight, common ingredient weights, oven and fry temperatures, and internal cooking temperatures- **Index by Restaurant** - Find all the recipes from your favorite chain or restaurant style in one place- **Index by Dish** - Quick lookup for any recipe, organized alphabetically This is Volume Three of the Copycat Kitchen series. It's designed to match the format and quality of Volumes One and Two, but it's completely standalone-you don't need the other books to use this one. The goal is simple: cook restaurant food at home, understand why it tastes the way it does, and do it with confidence. No more guessing. No more failed attempts. Just recipes that work, techniques that matter, and meals that taste like you got them from your favorite place. Stop eating out. Start cooking in.
