Light browning and soiling, a few small holes, chipping, tears and creases to edges. $950. * Peace was a notorious criminal who, having evaded justice on several previous occasions, was executed for the murder of Arthur Dyson, a civil engineer, in Banner Cross, Sheffield, which he followed with a series of robberies in Blackheath, London. As our broadside notes: "This man who has become so celebrated in the annals of crime, and who is now in Armley Gaol, Leeds, under sentence of death, is proved to be one of the most determined felons in existence, being Housebreaker, Highwayman and Murderer, and after a long career of crime, will finally end his wicked life on the Gallows."
