Il progetto di ?Spalavera? nasce nel 2012 per amore della cultura e del libro antico: due strade che si incrociano nel mestiere di libraio. Focalizzandosi fin da principio sull?idea di ritirare qualunque libro usato, (purch� sia di cultura), sul territorio della provincia del Verbano Cusio Ossola (e non solo) tra scantinati, soffitte, biblioteche dismesse e abitazioni, un modo per ridare vita a vecchie edizioni che molto spesso rischiavano di finire al macero oppure dimenticate sotto la polvere di scaffali e librerie. Spalavera nei primi mesi di attivit� cresce grazie ai mercati cittadini e inizia a farsi conoscere anche nel resto d'Italia inaugurando nel giugno 2014 un mercato-biblioteca di libri usati nel giardino di una stupenda abitazione presso l?Alpe Colle, un vecchio alpeggio (1.200 metri d?altitudine), una casa di libri immersa tra meravigliosi faggi, prati e betulle sulle pendici del Monte Spalavera. Un?esperienza pi� unica che rara in Italia: creare attraverso il mercato di libri un luogo dove far vivere cultura educandosi alla bellezza del territorio, uno spazio dove incontrarsi leggendo e conversando nella tranquillit� delle montagne, un luogo dove coltivare condivisione, arte e sensibilit� progettando concerti, presentazioni di libri e mostre. Un esperimento riproposto con ancora maggiore successo durante l?estate 2015 riscontrando un grande afflusso di persone da tutta la regione con lo sviluppo insieme al commercio di libri anche di un percorso legato ai prodotti agroalimentari del territorio (marmellate, formaggi di capra, miele, birre artigianali), un buon modo per dare prospettiva e animare in maniera conviviale le terre alte, un'idea per riprendersi un alpeggio ormai sempre pi� abbandonato. Il progetto di Spalavera non si � fermato alla costruzione di laboratori ad alta quota e ai mercati cittadini infatti nel settembre 2014 � stata aperta nel centro di Pallanza la ?mitica? libreria Spalavera, attivit� legata al commercio di volumi usati, edizioni rare ed antiche. E? nata cos� un?altra sfida, una sfida che vede come sempre nel libro uno strumento importante per raggiungere gli altri, per creare lavoro facendo rivivere spazi di citt� spesso dimenticati. Questa prima tappa della libreria si � ulteriormente sviluppata a marzo 2016 con il trasferimento del negozio nella sede del Caff� Bottinelli, un luogo storico del centro cittadino dove l'antico bar aveva chiuso e nel quale, dopo pi� di un anno di lavori di ristrutturazione � stata portata la libreria per far rivivere uno spazio importante e affascinante con il suo stile liberty e il gusto del passato come bussola per questo presente. Un percorso tra i libri antichi e il collezionismo che per� vuole essere anche un progetto sociale: ogni anno organizziamo stagione culturale ricca di appuntamenti legati a presentazioni, musica e arte. Infine, in questo ultimo anno, � stato avviato il progetto di Book-Sharing sul lungolago di Pallanza parcheggiando un Ape Piaggio stracolmo di libri ed invitando la cittadinanza e i turisti di passaggio a usufruire gratuitamente del servizio di scambio.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Libreria Spalavera, Verbania, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Italy, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
