Neuware - Before she was a passionate and accomplished consultant, speaker, coach, and author, Dr. Bridget Cooper straddled the razor's edge between wanting to die and struggling to live. This is her story. This, however, is not your typical memoir. Not only is it an extraordinary story full of horror and hope, but it compels you to take inventory of your own little landslides - the events and circumstances that have reshaped your footing, created a new landscape, and challenged you to stay upright. She offers a proven path out of the darkness. LITTLE LANDSLIDES is: A true tale of domestic violence as told through the eyes of a child. A story about sexual assault as spoken through the voice of an innocent. A commentary on mental illness written by a girl who almost died escaping its grasp.A narrative of addiction's stranglehold on the human condition. The world seems so dark at times, so hopeless. Life offers beauty.and misery. When we hold tight to the latter, it deepens and multiplies, spreading like wildfire, creating the foundation for all human suffering. The stories we tell ourselves about what's happened to us creates our reality. If we change our stories and how we understand them, we change our lives. The author went deep into darkness and emerged into light and she dares you to do the same, equipped with all the lessons she learned the hard way. It turns out that this book offers a little landslide of its very own. …
