A Treasury of Continental Cookery. "Joseph Pasternak likes beautiful women and delicious food, and he combines both loves at an outdoor barbecue at his estate in Bel Air. Here we see him greeting Zsa Zsa Gabor, cooking hamburgers with Elke Sommer, basting them under the supervision of Jim Hutton, George Hamilton and Barbara Eden, and about to serve them with Mrs. Larry Dorn." Photographs by Virgil Apger. The book presents Pasternak's collection of family recipes (including those from his mother and Elizabeth "Cuddles" Sakall) representing four generations, spanning three or four testings, reflecting continental European cuisine adapted for American kitchens.
