"I read A Bloodline of Kings and hugely enjoyed it. It's a great story - I can't thinks of anyone writing on that scale nowadays and it's done so well - a great saga!"
- Bernard Cornwell, author The Last Kingdom series and the Sharpe series
In A Viennese Waltz... Sundell paints a picture of a world that is about to vanish ... where the old stories come to life and what happens when they do."
- Bruce Dravis, author of Confirmation Bias and Take What You Want
The Consultant: Retired and living a quiet life, Randy Pryor is jolted from his routine by a mysterious summons that compels him to undertake a new assignment. Instead of complying, he reaches out to Vivienne Hawk, the intended target of an unknown threat, to uncover who wants her dead-and who is manipulating him. Vivienne, determined to survive, is ready to partner with Randy.
Scratch: Travis finds himself back in Buffalo on a cold winter evening, sitting in his car while loading a pistol. After more than thirty years of leading a straight life, happily married with two young daughters, the shadows of his past loom large. Someone from his history as Scratch-the Donegal gang's enforcer-has emerged, threatening the peaceful existence he has built. Is it the new leader of the Donegals? A rival gang seizing control? Or a mysterious figure with their own agenda?
Thomas Sundell is the acclaimed author of A Viennese Waltz and A Bloodline of Kings, along with these two gripping novellas and twenty-four other novels, including Massachusetts in Rebellion and Safe Conduit. He has also published two anthologies of short stories and flash fiction titled Views of Imagined Lives. Discover more of his work at sundellwritings.wordpress.com.
