Albany: W. Gould & Son, 1882. viii, 234 pp. Octavo (7-1/2" x 4-1/2"). Original sheep, blind rules to boards, red and black lettering pieces to spine. Some rubbing to extremities, front joint and hinge cracked at ends. Offsetting to margins of endleaves, toning, light foxing in a few places. Gift inscription (from Thomas Campbell to John H. Schmall) to verso of front free endpaper, large pencil sketch of a woman's head to rear free endpaper, large owner signature (of John A. Schmall) to rear pastedown. $25. * Fourth edition. "The changes which have been made in the statutes, with reference to the powers of Constables, are very many, while the decisions of our several courts have served to elucidate many things which were formerly doubtful or uncertain.
