nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - In Edwin Lester Arnold's 'The Constable of St. Nicholas', readers are transported to a bustling medieval village where the humble constable faces unexpected challenges that threaten the peace and order of his community. Combining humor, adventure, and insight into medieval life, the story explores themes of duty, courage, and the resilience of ordinary people when confronted with extraordinary circumstances. As the constable navigates through misunderstandings, rivalries, and moments of danger, he demonstrates that even the most modest of figures can play a vital role in maintaining harmony and justice. The Constable of St. Nicholas is an unchanged, high-quality reprint of the original edition of 1894.
