‘Celestial Chess’ is an utterly unique poetry collection from newly emerging poet Tom Fisher.

This collection spans poetic writings from 2019 to 2023. The poems are often dark and psychological, weaving political and philosophical themes with the deeply personal. The style varies too, encompassing both prose poems and rhyme. Often challenging, sometimes moving and at other times humorous, these poems, totalling over one hundred in number, will offer much to intrigue and entertain the reader.

The poet, Tom Fisher, lives on the south coast of England and is also the author of the political forecasting guide, ‘The Keys to Downing Street’. He is also an actor, and has taught English as a foreign language, both in the UK and overseas.
