V�ritable � journaliste de la BD �, Daniel Ceppi est n� � Gen�ve en 1951. Jeune dipl�m� des Arts d�coratifs, il passe 6 mois dans le graphisme publicitaire mais, rapidement, l’�vidence s’impose � lui : c’est dans le dessin qu’il fera sa vie. Il commence donc par de l’illustration publicitaire et, surtout, des planches de bande dessin�e qu’il r�alise sur son temps libre. Planches qui, de fil en aiguille, deviendront Le gu�pier, son premier album. D’abord �dit� � compte d’auteur, ce dernier est ensuite publi� aux Humano�des Associ�s, devenant le premier tome de sa s�rie St�phane Cl�ment. Il y distille son go�t pour la g�opolitique et de nombreux �l�ments autobiographiques glan�s lors de ses nombreux voyages sur la route des Indes (Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.).
