Chapter One
I am undertaking an enterprise which is without precedent and which, when finished will have no imitator. I want to show my fellowmen a man in all the truth of (nature) God, the almighty; and that man, he will be me.Myself alone. I understand my heart and I know men, I am not made like anyone else I have seen. I dare to suppose that I am not made like anyone else who exists. If I am no better, at least I am different. Whether God did good or ill, in breaking the mould in which he formed me, is something that can only be decided after reading this work.
Let the trumpet of the Last Judgement sound when it will. I will come to present myself before the Supreme Judge with this book in my hand. I will say outloud: "this is what I have done, what I thought, what I have been. I have recounted good and bad with equal frankness. I have neither excluded anything bad, nor added anything good. If I have ever ever happened to use some irrelevant decoration, it has only ever been to fill a gap caused by a fault in my memory. I have put forward as true what I know to have been true, never what I know to have been false. Eternal Being, gather around me the numberless crowd of my fellows. Let them hear my confessions, let them groan at my baseness, let them blush at my distress. Let each of them in turn reveal his heart at the foot of Your Throne with the same sincerity. And then let a single one of them say to You, if he dare: "I am a better man than him"
The philosophies of Descartes and Kant to the contrary, through the I think we reach our own self in the presence of others, and the others are just as real to us as our own self. Thus, the man who becomes aware of himself through the "cogito" also perceives all others, and he perceives them as the condition of his own existence. He realizes that he can not be anything (in the sense that we say that someone is witty or nasty or jealous) unless others recognize it as such. In order to get any truth about myself, I must have contact with another person the other is indispensable to my own existence, as well as to my knowledge about myself. This being so, in discovering my inner being I discover the other person at the same time, like a freedom placed in front of me which thinks and wills only for or against me. Hence, let us at once announce the discovery of a world which we shall call intersubjectivity; this is the world in which man decides what he is and what others are.
Sometimes I wish I was somebody else and this sentiment has nothing to do with skin color but simply mentality. I have come to realize that we are living in a world where many of us are not in touch with reality. What is reality? It is all of your experiences that determine how things appear to you; "his world was shattered"; "we live in different worlds"; "for them demons were as much a part of reality as trees were"
the state of being actual or real; "the reality of his situation slowly dawned on him"
the state of the world as it really is rather than as you might want it to be; "businessmen have to face harsh realities"
the quality possessed by something that is real Reality, in everyday usage, means "the state of things as they actually exist". The term reality, in its widest sense, includes everything that is, To be involved or to have the audacity to marry a person because they have great physique, in our term because they are "sexy" or "good looking" shows that many of our fellow human-beings are really not in touch with reality. If a man marries a woman just because she happens to be sexy or she has a great body then that man should think about marrying almost every other woman. Take a look around almost every woman are in great shape, beautiful, and sexy. In addition, if a woman marries a man just because he happens to look good or he has a great body then that woman is a fool and fools are dangerous. Even myself I used to be in love with that sexy ness and I even married one and it took me nowhere except almost to the path of destruction. Every man needs a good woman as they say behind a good man there is always a good woman. Let's take our first black elected president Barack Obama he would not be where he is at today if it was not for his wife Michelle. The commander- in -chief did not marry his wife for her body, but God in his power chose her to be his life-long companion. Praise God. My research has shown that "usually when one meets a great man there is always a great woman behind him. Moreover, I urge every person especially our black and Hispanic males not to limit their search in finding a great mate. By limiting I mean one would be surprised that the person that God has chosen for you is of a different race, creed and or color. God will give you a woman with great super mentality that has your back and it would be natural. You will be so happy. As Rousseau said, "we will find happiness in being true to ourselves, but we live in society and a crucial part of ourselves is what we share with our fellow men". Many men and women would love to marry somebody from another race, but they are afraid because they wonder what their friends, parents, families, colleagues, co-workers would think. These men are not free. What is freedom? the condition of being free; the power to act or speak or think without externally imposed restraints. The ultimate freedom is to have your own free will. That is the ultimate moral law. One should marry an individual with a mentality that will elevate you from your current situation and status. Hence, do not limit your search whether it's ethnicity, color, creed because we are all God's children and he knows what best for us. Any man can get married or have a relationship, but a real marriage is when you do not have to work anything out. Things just work out naturally without you have to beat on that person or that individual has to call the police on your behalf. What is happiness? It is a state of well being characterized by emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy. We are living in a world where many couples married or not are very unhappy, but they wind-up staying together in the relationship for many years, some until they die. Why? And how did they do it? Many of these people live for society. They do not want others to think that they are failures, divorcees, so they keep working it out. In fact they do not realize how much they have made their children suffer. A lot of these children become part of the special education program in their schools and teachers have to pay a great price just for that. Some of these children become suicidal. Some become the worst husbands and fathers themselves. In many of these marriages or relationships one of the partners would say to the other "I want to start seeing other people or sleep with other characters". Instead of getting out of the relationship many fools say honey please do not ever leave me. Moreover, a wife might say to her husband from now on I want to go to the club every Friday and or Saturday many of these men agree even though they are dying in the inside. I am sorry to call these dudes men. As in one in my previous books "Man and His Actions" I have stated that a man is best judged by his actions. Anything that happens to a man is his fault. These little men usually have no choice and they finish by accepting the deal that their spouse has given them because most of the time she pays half of the bills in the household. A real man would rather die standing than on his knees. Moreover, a real man would live in a street corner in Manhattan than living in a mansion in Old Westbury on Long Island with a spouse who does not respect and cherish him or her.
Many individuals might think that I have very low affective filter, on the other hand it takes a real man to come out and share with the world this very important piece. Some people come out of the closets. But me I want to come out and say to my audience any where in the world they might be that I wish I was a rich Caucasian. White people is a term which usually refers to human beings characterized, at least in part, by the light pigmentation of their skin. It often refers narrowly to people claiming ancestry exclusively from Europe. A broadly corresponding and sometimes synonymous concept is the Caucasian race. Caucasoid people from the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Central and South Asia are therefore also sometimes considered "white. Rather than a straightforward description of skin color, the term white functions as a color terminology for race. Various conceptions of whiteness have had implications in terms of national identity, consanguinity, public policy, religion, population statistics, racial segregation/affirmative action, eugenics, racial marginalization and racial quotas. The concept has been applied with varying degrees of formality and internal consistency in disciplines including: sociology, politics, genetics, biology, medicine, biomedicine, language, culture, and law
Raj Bhopal and Liam Donaldson, both M.D.s at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England criticize the broad classification of white used by contemporary demographic surveys such as the U.S. Census and British Census. They state that the term white "in practice, refers to people of European origin with pale complexions". They conclude that white people are a sufficiently heterogeneous group that white should be abandoned as a classification for purposes of epidemiology and health research. Why do I wish that I were somebody else? Again my wish has nothing to do with skin color, but everything to do with mentality. A Caucasian person is not better than a person of African descent. The difference is mentality. The mentality of most whites is exceptional. Here are some of their qualities: they are always on time. If they have to be somewhere at seven o'clock, they will be there on point. Next, they keep their neighborhoods clean and they are not loud. In order to have a party most Caucasians would prefer to rent a place. That does not mean that they do not have get together in their homes. They do, usually it's for a few friends. Moreover, they value family life and they believe in respect and staying married. The worst thing that can happen to an older rich white woman is for her husband to leave (vice versa). In addition, they value education, because they know that education equals money. So they instill in their kids that education is the key and they model it for their children. Plus, they believe in helping others and sharing especially their neighbors. When there is a hurricane or flood anywhere in the world white folks are always there to help. May God bless them. Oh sorry they are already blessed. It's pretty obvious. Take a look at their countries whether they are from Western Europe or The United States, their countries look good, always striving to better their countries and welcoming foreigners in their homelands. Those are very simple things and they can have major impacts on someone and their nations if one does not possess them.
Eventhough I am a Christian, sometimes it is important to know what your stars hold. To all my fellow readers, you never turn down a new challenge. The stars are inviting you to take such a challenge today and to distance yourself from the people you usually spend a lot of time with. You have the wonderful ability to relieve tension in the atmosphere at work or in your family life. However, be especially mindful not to get mixed up in other people's business when they haven't asked you for help.
I have a lot of school loans, should that be a problem for my lover or not. You love your partner's quirks and finish each other's sentences, but when it comes to discussing money, ever find yourselves in opposite corners ... with boxing gloves on? Chalk it up to bad timing. "People are getting married later on average, which means they're entering the relationship with more financial baggage than ever before," says Beth Kobliner, author of Get a Financial Life: Personal Finance in Your Twenties and Thirties. "You've racked up savings as well as debt, and developed personal spending habits that are hard to change. Throw the recession into the mix and that tension multiplies." The key is to navigate your financial hot buttons now so those issues don't derail your twosome. Here's how.
When a spender and a saver get together, it's a recipe for resentment. How can you not roll your eyes when he overspends ... or when she overreacts about every dollar you blow?
First, stop harping on her shoe shopping syndrome or his gadget-buying fixation. "There's a lot of opposing research floating around that says men spend more than women on X and women spend more than men on Y, but the bottom line is that if you have clashing views about spending, you're sitting on a volcano," says Kobliner. How do you make sure it doesn't blow? You're never going to turn a spender into a penny-pincher, but you can reach a middle ground. "Agree on a set monthly amount you can each put toward a fun purchase that the other can't veto," Kobliner says. "The spender won't feel controlled, and the saver can sock away cash for a more practical, big-picture buy down the road."
You love how smart your significant other is ... if only that freakin' degree didn't dump $100,000 of student loan debt in your mailbox.
Ever heard the term, "love me, love my debt"? You've gotta acknowledge that just like you can't adore your partner's hair but hate their nose, you can't pick and choose what financial circumstances you want them to have. "You need to accept the full package - the good and bad," says Kobliner. "Part of that is saying, 'Okay, chipping away at this debt is going to take us a while, but it's just part of our lives.'" What if you feel the pinch too much right now? "Extend the life of the loan," advises Kobliner. "You'll pay a little more interest over time but it will give you both a breather in the short term, which will help your relationship."
If one of you has a less-than-great score (below 650), it can keep you both from getting approved for a mortgage, a car loan, and more. Grr ... talk about tarnishing your gleaming record!
"You may know everything about your partner's exes, but it's amazing how much couples ignore each other's credit histories," says Kobliner. "Sit down and discuss your numbers without taking digs at each other." Then reassess in six months after you've made a series of on-time payments to your cards, because it takes at least that much time to see a significant spike in your score (though you'll start noticing progress in as little as three). Turn it into a game: For every 10 points your partner's score goes up, you'll reward them with a treat, whether it's breakfast-in-bed or a foot massage.
When you were single, there was zero debate over how you'd save and where your hard-earned cash was going. But two paychecks + two brains = one messy power struggle.
"Couples often fight about budgeting because they view it as a battle between 'my wants' versus 'your wants,'" says Kobliner. One of you might say you want to start a family within the next year and the other may balk, wanting to take a vacation and buy a new car. Make a list of the top five financial goals you have over the next few years; ask your partner to do the same and see which ones overlap. "The economic downturn means you can't have everything at the exact time you want it anymore, so focus on that shared priority and stick to it," Kobliner says. No one said budgeting was sexy, but excitedly ticking off the days until you can score your "team goal" - whether it's Barbados or a baby - sure is.
