128 Pages. Croydon No. 44 ANC. Covers have some edge wear and minor corner creasing. Cover to spine has been re-glued. Very little evidence of age-tanning and pages are tight. She was a honky-tonk stripper who tricked men. Peg's life is changed when she meets Joyce, a disillusioned girl who is seeking her soldier-lover. This naive, lonely youngster berings out in Peg buried qualities of human warth and tenderness. There were men in Peg's peersonal life, too. Which is the right kind of man for her kind of woman? Peg had to live through a fiery crucible to learn what she really wanted.
