A pesar de lo arriesgado de su objetivo explicar los fundamentos del espiritismo y atraer hacia él a los lectores el tono de la escritura, es templado y medido. Su protagonista, tras desmontar algunos de los mitos de la religión, aboga por una educación científica para la mujer, sobre todo matemática, por lo que tiene esa ciencia de arte y de belleza, y condena la explotación del pobre en la sociedad industrial. Todo ello la hace avanzar por el camino del espiritismo, una respuesta espiritual, que no religiosa, al vacío de su alma. La idea de la existencia de otros mundos habitados y del contacto con los familiares difuntos, aparece aquí nítidamente, como una terapia consoladora para los ciudadanos que, impotentes asistían a la desaparición de sus seres queridos.Racionalismo, laicismo y feminismo convergen con el espiritismo en Concha. Historia de una librepensadora, novela autobiográfica escrita en el último tercio del siglo XIX y pionera donde las haya. Matilde Fernández de Ras. La escritora y periodista Matilde Fernández Casanova, nacida hacia 1860, estudia magisterio en un colegio francés y a su vuelta a España colabora en distintos medios de prensa (El Imparcial, La Hoja del Lunes). Activa librepensadora, pronto se integra en el círculo espiritista de Amalia Domingo Soler, fundadora de La Luz del Porvenir, revista en la que publicará asiduamente. A principios de los años ochenta contrae matrimonio civil con el arquitecto tarraconense Antonio Ras, con quien tendrá dos hijos: Matilde y Aurelio. Viuda al poco tiempo y, con los hijos a su cargo, no duda en buscar trabajo anunciándose en la prensa como profesora de francés o institutriz. A partir de entonces, inicia un largo peregrinaje por distintos lugares de España forzada por la precariedad de sus empleos. En 1885 escribe una novela con rasgos autobiográficos: Concha. Historia de una librepensadora y años más tarde, nuevamente casada, traduce la novela espiritista Spiridion de George Sand. Otra vez viuda, se establece con su hija, la también escritora Matilde Ras autora de Cuentos de la Gran Guerra, Diario y El pensionado de Santa Casilda (coescrito con Elena Fortún), todos ellos publicados por Renacimiento , definitivamente en Madrid, donde muere en 1935.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day,
on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods within the framework of a uniform order and these are or will be delivered uniformly;

To comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.
Consequences of revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments that we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of this contract.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Reasons for exclusion or extinction
