Synopsis:

ROY THOMAS RETURNS The final chapters of Conan's legendary first series, originated in the 1990s and free after the immortal works of Robert E. Howard! This collection volume contains Conan the Barbarian 241-275 as well as exclusive bonus material. In the 1970s, author, idea generator, editor and Marvel legend Roy Thomas was in charge of the endeavor, Robert E. Howard's barbaric fantasy hero Conan from the Pulp magazines of the 1930s and the paperbacks of the 1960s. 00er into a comic character. For years, Thomas took care of the adventures of the fearless cimmerier with skillful hand, good sense and tremendous success as an author and editor, launching one of the most popular titles of all time and a milestone of fantasy comics with exceptional artists such as Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema. Even before the Schwarzenegger films, Thomas and Co. Conan is the favourite of a new generation of fans. After other creatives of the long-lived series Conan the Barbarian, Roy Thomas returned to the figure in the early 1990s, which will probably always be associated with him. Thus, almost three dozen new Conan stories from barbarian master Thomas emerged. The drawings mainly contributed Gary Hartle and Michael Docherty, who in turn represented a new generation of comic creators as well as the changed aesthetics of the entire medium. Ultimately, Thomas was not only to celebrate the proud, big anniversary number 250, but also to lead the flagship series of the fantasy icon to its end in 1993. On the way to the grand finale, Conan once again travels his entire archaic world according to Howard's idea of the Hyboric Age: the cities, the sea, the forests and the mountains. And everywhere human, bestial and supernatural opponents stand in the way of the Cimmerier! But Conan is not alone on the go. In the stories of this collection, the wild, first developed by Roy Thomas from Howard's creations, Warrior Red Sonja and the strong chief son Zula accompany him. In addition, this volume contains an introduction of the Conan court writer, in which he provides many insights into the creation of the comics.
