Computer Confluence is more than a textbook! It is the confluence of three information sources: an illustrated textbook, a multimedia CD-ROM, and an up-to-the-minute website. It goes beyond computer concepts and explores the promises and problems of information technology, how it affects people and society, and the future. Once again, George Beekman thoroughly integrates his text with an unparalleled media package for valuable learning package. Computer Confluence also integrates technology throughout the text in order to familiarize anyone new to technology.
