Dr. Abdullahi Haruna Birniwa is working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State of Nigeria. Ahmad Hussaini Jagaba is an assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his B.Eng. from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi; M. Eng. Civil Engineering from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and PhD in Civil Engineering (Environmental) from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Bandar Seri Iskandar, Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia. He has authored and co-authored several articles that include research articles, review papers, conference papers, and book chapters in environmental engineering with special emphasis in physical/chemical and biological wastewater treatment, biomass conversion, sewage and industrial sludge and solid waste management. He is an Editor in the “International Journal of Sustainable Engineering (IJSE)”, Taylor & Francis. He is also a reviewer for reputable journals in: Elsevier, Springer, MDPI, Wiley online etc.

Azmatullah Noor obtained his B.Tech (Civil Engineering) and M.Tech (Civil Engineering) degrees from the Aligarh Muslim University, in India. He completed his Ph.D. (Civil Engineering) from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, in Malaysia. His research focuses on integrated wastewater treatment systems, biological wastewater treatment, adsorption, industrial wastewater treatment, domestic and municipal wastewater treatment and reuse, and additive manufacturing. He has authored or co-authored nearly 28 research or review articles published in indexed journals with Google Scholar Citation over 1000. Also, he has two years of teaching experience in the field of Civil Engineering at a reputed institute.

Dr. Rania Edrees Adam Mohammad received her PhD in Chemistry from the Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2022. She obtained her M.Sc and B.Sc in chemistry from the University of Khartoum in Sudan. Dr. Rania works for the Open University of Sudan where she was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2023. Her research efforts focus on environmental analytical chemistry with special interests in synthesis and application of nanomaterials for water remediation, method development and validation. She has authored or co-authored several articles in these fields.

Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Lawal is presently working as a Senior Lecturer with the Department of Civil Engineering at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Bauchi, in Nigeria. He obtained his B.Eng in Civil Engineering from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi in 2008 and M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering and Project Management, from the University of Leeds, UK in 2013.

He received his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK in 2023. His research interests include water and wastewater treatment through adsorption, sustainable water resources management, hydrology, and climate change.
