About the Authors

Clemens Steenbergen (Autor des Titels „Architecture and Landscape – The Design Experiment of the Great European Gardens and Landscapes") lehrt seit 1993 Landschaftsarchitektur an der TU Delft. Seine Lehr- und Forschungsschwerpunkt umfasst drei Kernthemen: das Verhältnis von Architektur und Landschaft, das Verhältnis von Stadt und Landschaft sowie die Typologie der niederländischen Landschaft. Im Zentrum stehen analytische, entwurfstheoretische, typologische und kompositorische Fragestellungen.

Clemens Steenbergen (author of the book Architecture and Landscape – The Design Experiment of the Great European Gardens and Landscapes) has taught landscape architecture at the TU Delft (Delft University of Technology) since 1993. His teaching and research revolve around three core topics: the relationship between architecture and landscape, the relationship between city and landscape, and the typology of the Dutch landscape. The central focus is on analytical, design-theoretical, typological, and compositional issues.
