The Author: Michael Finkenthal is the author of several books and many articles on various subjects related to literary, philosophical, and scientific matters. His present work on complexity in humanities and social sciences was very much informed by his long-standing research of the exceedingly complex media of hot, laboratory, and astrophysical plasmas.
