Boards show moderate shelfwear; corners are lightly bumped; soiling and rubbing; sunning to spine; tears and fraying to spine ends and minor biopredation. Age-toning throughout. Interior is clean with NO markings in text. Dramas VII (The Burgraves, Amy Robsart) has an open tear at the top edge of front fly leaf. Dramas IX (Torquemada) is stress and exposed at the rear hinge, but still holding. Novels XIX, Volume 1 (Les Miserable) is soiled and stained to the first few pages. Novels XXI (The Laughing Man) has a few uncut pages. In sound reading condition. Otherwise, this is a very nice set.
