This is a 1929 reprint of an earlier edition - (A preface by Thomas Hutchinson is dated December, 1904). It includes two additional prefaces by Mrs Shelley for publications in the years 1824 and 1839. As the title suggests, the approach is comprehensive and the book ends with the Editor's Notes, a Bibliographical List of Editions and an Index of First Lines. Simply tooled navy blue cloth boards with gilt (gold) OUP logo on the front and titles at the head and tail of the spine. Some fading and marking in places with fraying at the head of the spine; especially at the joint with the front board. Top edge stained. The pages are mildly to moderately tanned with occasional spotting; more evident on the preliminary and final ones.Ink signature at top of ffep. pp. xxiv, 912/8vo.
