By Dr. Robert Groysman, MD
Long COVID has left millions struggling with lingering symptoms—fatigue, brain fog, digestive troubles, food intolerances, and more. Among the most overlooked yet critical pieces of the puzzle is the gut. In this groundbreaking volume of The Complete Long COVID Handbook series, physician and researcher Dr. Robert Groysman uncovers how disruptions in the microbiome fuel persistent symptoms—and offers a clear roadmap to recovery.
Drawing from emerging science and years of clinical experience, Dr. Groysman explains:
- How COVID-19 disrupts the gut microbiome and damages the intestinal lining
- Why SIBO, candida overgrowth, and histamine intolerance often appear after infection
- The role of leaky gut and LPS spillage in driving systemic inflammation
- How to interpret stool and breath tests in the context of Long COVID
- Practical strategies for rebuilding the gut ecosystem, from fibers, probiotics, and postbiotics to advanced supports like peptides, colostrum, and FMT
- The crucial connections between gut health, brain function, hormones, immunity, and recovery
If you’re a patient, caregiver, or clinician navigating Long COVID, The Complete Long COVID Handbook: Gut Dysbiosis will help you understand why healing often begins in the gut—and how to take the first steps toward restoring balance and reclaiming your health.
