A lovely and harmonious set, complete in 14 volumes, of the First Edition Library’s authorized facsimile editions of the James Bond books, issued in the 1980s and into the 1990s. Meticulous reproductions of the original Jonathan Cape first edition books and dustwrappers, each volume is housed in a complementary grey cloth-bound slipcase with panels replicating the original dustwrapper art. As a whole, a Fine set, presenting as unread, in similarly excellent dustwrappers. Clean slipcases showing a little shelf wear to the extremities. Minor flaws to note: some spotting to the top-edge of the closed page block of Casino Royale; the Casino Royale and Moonraker dustwrappers are lightly rubbed to the head of the spine, with the latter having a 1cm closed tear to the top of the rear panel, sealed to the verso with mending tissue; a tiny nick to the dustwrapper spine of Diamonds are Forever; the later volumes show just a trace of (barely perceptible) sunning to the wrapper spine. PLEASE NOTE that this is a very heavy set and will incur an additional charge (at cost) to ship outside the UK (our free international shipping offer is based upon an item weight of up to 1kg).…
