About the Author
Georgene Lockwood, author of The Complete Idiot's Guide® to Crafts with Kids and The Complete Idiot's Guide® to Simple Living, is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and the Author's Guild. As the single mother of two young children, she first learned the value of organizational skills when she went back to school full time while maintaining a full-time job. Careful management of time and resources meant she occasionally got to sleep. Later, as a freelance nonfiction writer, she refined her skills to keep vast amounts of paper and information at bay, yet easy to retrieve at a moment's notice. Lockwood conducts workshops and lectures about organizing and writing. She lives with her husband in Prescott, Arizona.
