Divorce changes more than a marriage. It can affect your family, your friendships, your routines, your plans for the future, and even the way you experience your faith.
If you are a Christian going through divorce, you may find yourself facing questions you never expected to ask. How do you hold on to your faith when your marriage is ending? How do you deal with anger, guilt, loneliness, and forgiveness? What do you tell your children? How should you treat your spouse when the relationship has become difficult? What happens when church no longer feels like the comfortable place it once was? And how do you begin building a life after divorce?
The Complete Guide to Christian Divorce offers practical, compassionate guidance for navigating these questions while remaining connected to the faith and values that matter to you.
Rather than offering easy answers or telling you what you must believe, this book recognizes that Christians come from different denominations, churches, families, and traditions. It focuses on the real experiences and decisions that can arise during and after divorce.
Inside, you'll explore:
• Faith when life does not go as planned
• Guilt, shame, anger, hurt, and forgiveness
• Communicating with and setting boundaries with your spouse
• Helping your children through divorce while supporting their faith
• Family, friends, and changing relationships
• Navigating divorce within your church community
• Loneliness and adjusting to life on your own
• Your former spouse moving forward
• Rebuilding your identity, purpose, and future
• Faith, trust, and hope after divorce
You do not have to have everything figured out today.
Whether your divorce is just beginning, already underway, or behind you, The Complete Guide to Christian Divorce can help you take the questions in front of you one at a time and move forward thoughtfully, with faith, hope, and a clearer sense of the life you want to build.
