Blue cloth is faded and stained, bubbled at upper front, flecked, spine sunned, rubbed edges, bumped, creased spine, light fraying at spine extremities, bowed boards, generally a bit delapidated. Page edges age-toned and blue upper edges faded. Some offsetting to endpapers, closed tears, faint stamp at free front endpaper, owner's details penned at title page and upper margin of preface. pencilled note at p11 and note and illustration opposite, pencilled marginalia lines on other pages. Water stain to upper edge of first few plates with light crinkling to plate opposite p120. Some silverfish damage to free back endpaper and rear pastedown. Contents clear and legible.
