That is why good preparation matters.
This practical road companion gives you a broader view of Cornwall so you can understand how destinations connect, compare sensible ways of getting around and prepare alternatives before you need them. Rather than relying entirely on turn-by-turn instructions, you can see the journey as a whole and make more confident decisions along the way.
Designed for holidaymakers, couples, families, mature travellers, motorhome and campervan users, road-trippers and first-time visitors, it combines clear route information with practical touring advice in one convenient reference.

Helpful driving and preparation tips for approaching Cornwall’s busy resorts, quieter countryside and spectacular coastal areas with greater confidence
This is not about replacing your phone or sat-nav.
It is about travelling with more context and more choices.
A digital device can guide you through the next junction. A well-planned road journey helps you understand what lies beyond it.
Instead of spending valuable holiday time repeatedly searching for routes, parking possibilities and driving information, keep the essentials together in one practical companion that can remain within reach throughout your trip.
Cornwall’s most rewarding journeys are often the ones where you have enough information to slow down, look beyond the fastest route and enjoy what is around you.
Prepare before you set off, keep a dependable Plan B close at hand, and make the drive through Cornwall part of the adventure rather than something to simply get through.
Start planning your journey today and explore Cornwall with greater clarity, flexibility and confidence.
