Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait of the author. In two parts: the first is the appellative or common words in so full and large a manner, that any verse may be readily found by looking for any material word in it. Various significations of the principal words are given, by which the true meaning of many passages of Scripture is shown, with an account of several Jewish customs and ceremonies is also added. Part two has the proper names in the Scriptures, with a table containing the significations of the words in the original languages from which they are derived. With a concordance to the books called Apocrypha. From the tenth London edition, revised and corrected, with a life of the author added.
