From the blurb ? Few shows in the history of television have commanded the audience and the respect that M*A*S*H has earned. The final 21/2-hour show ? after eleven years of broadcasting ? was seen by over 125 million viewers, more than half the population of the United States.
No wonder. With its wit and warmth, its repeated assertions of good values, and its clear, unprejudiced thinking, M*A*S*H stood head and shoulders above the usual situation comedies. And though it was set in a war zone, in a combat surgical hospital, it managed to find positive things to say about life. In many ways, of course, it was an antidote to the grim realities of the Vietnam war that was too much with the nation in those years.
This book is an homage to M*A*S*H, to the people who made it and acted it ? a complete reprise of all eleven seasons, of each of the 251 episodes, with direct interviews with the actors and directors to provide more facts, anecdotes, and details about the show than have ever been presented.
This large format book is in fine condition in a near-fine French Fold dust jacket, that is now enclosed in a protective mylar wrap. This heavy book may require additional postage.
