Item description from seller

A two volume set of the fifth edition of this legal work. Two of three volumes, lacking volume III. In law, conveyancing is the transfer of legal title of property from on person to another. This comprehensive work was revised and reprinted in several editions. Revised and corrected by John Joseph Powell, a British barrister and Member of Parliament . Rebound in cloth bindings with leather spine labels. Externally, smart with some rubbing. Marks to boards including score mark to volume I measuring 4 inches. Some loss to spine labels and wear to head and tail of spine. Hinges starting to volume II. Institutional stamps to endpapers and pastedowns of both volumes. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright with scattered spotting throughout. Ink inscriptions to the verso of the half titles. Very Good.
