The Complete Blues & Ragtime Guitar Player by guitarist and author Russ S hipton is a guitar TAB songbook and sheet music collection exploring the traditi ons of blues, ragtime, folk-blues, and fingerstyle guitar through a broad repert oire of classic songs and instrumental studies. This collection brings together recognizable standards, traditional blues forms, syncopated ragtime-inspired pie ces, and technical studies that reflect the rhythmic phrasing, melodic movement, and expressive character associated with American roots guitar styles.Th e book includes guitar tablature and notation that support exploration of blues structures, ragtime rhythms, slide guitar textures, alternating bass accompanime nt, and traditional fingerstyle techniques. The carefully organized progression moves through well-known titles and original studies while reinforcing timing, c oordination, chord movement, and melodic phrasing in a practical musical context . With a wide-ranging repertoire that includes both instrumental pieces and blue s standards, the collection remains engaging for regular playing, rehearsal, hom e music study, and informal performance.Song ListA Basic Blues * 'a' Simple Blues * 'a' Twelve Bar * Alice's Restaurant * Bounce Blues * Candyman * C andyman Blues * Cocaine Blues * Come Back Baby * Deep River Blues * The Entertai ner * Extension Blues * First Time Blues * Gee Rag * Good Morning Blues * Half-w ay Rag * Harmony Blues * Hesitation Blues * Horizon Rag * How Long How Long * I Believe I'll Dust My Broom * In the Evening (When the Sun Goes Down) * Kansas Ci ty * Keep on Truckin' Mama * Kick-off Rag * Last Train and Ride * Mark Two Blues * San Francisco Bay Blues * See See Rider * She's Funky That Way * Sister Kate'.…
