Volume I only. This book has the original cover, but has been rejointed. The cover is a dakr brown hardback with blindstamping to the front and back covers and backstrip, and gold lettering on the backstrip. The cover is in fair condition, with slight scuffing to the corners and edges of the covers, and to the top, bottom and edges of the backstrip. The binding is almost split in the front hinge, with some pages loose, but remains intact throughout the pageblock although it is beginning to loosen in places. The pageblock is cut, and the pages are slightly browned with age towards the edges. The text is in fair condition, with no annotations, foxing, or other markings.This book has hardback covers. Ex-library, With usual stamps and markings, In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket.
