Dr Sean O'Callaghan is Assistant Professor, Class of 2019 Dean, and Faculty Fellow at Salve Regina University, Rhode Island, in the United States. Sean has a BA in History from the University College Cork, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Christchurch College, University ofKent, and a Bachelor of Theology and a PhD in Systematic Theology fromthe University of Liverpool .
Sean grew up in Ireland, but has spent most of his working life in the UK until his move to Salve Regina. His main area of expertise is world religions. He is also interested in the relationship between religion and violence. Sean previously taught at a private university affiliated to the University of Manchester, and at Lancaster University.
