Neuware - 'Baer's method makes sense!'Dog World Magazine 'Communicating with Your Dog' is based on the fact that dogs only want to please their masters. Training your dog is a communication challenge. Winner of a Dog Writers' Association of America Award, this book will teach you to communicate with your dog through an easy-to-learn, twenty-word language. The special language in this book will allow your dog to understand you. You will develop training skills to use the twenty words consistently, with proper reinforcement. Your dog will develop a 'vocabulary,' much as a young child does. You'll have a happier dog and you'll be more likely to take your best friend with you wherever you go. The book has had great commercial success over the years. I think you'll find that 'Communicating with Your Dog' will be the only dog training book you'll ever need, your dog training bible. It not only outlines a simple communication system for you to share with your dog, but there's valuable information on initial house training, a more motivational approach to solving behavior problems, a way to test your dog's I.Q., and a game plan for choosing the right dog. You'll be delighted at how willing your dog is to respond to your commands, and how easy it is to transform an unruly animal into a model canine citizen. These magic words will serve as the basis for further training and will reward both of you with greater friendship and understanding. The clearly written text is accompanied by excellent color photographs showing step-by-step training techniques. You owe it to your pet to share this language! 'It is absolutely amazing what you can do with your dog once you have taught it the Twenty Magic Words . If I had to choose only one book on dog training, this would be it.'C.
