All illustrations present with their tissue guards. A lively, well written account of Rodgers' part in the formation and endeavors of the early American navy, with much on his tenure on the "President". The cloth shows only light wear at the extremities, with just the hint of a fray at the top of the front gutter. Hinges solid; binding square. A clean, tight, unmarked copy.
