Synopsis:

I've been struggling with how to tell my story for quite some time now. Everything about my life has been so convoluted.As I sat fishing for that perfect vein, desperately seeking a few minutes of escape from the memories that tormented me for so long. I felt trapped. I wasn't even fooling myself anymore. I had become everything that I despised in life. I'm not quite sure how I even got here. But I can tell you that it was a slow gradual descent straight to hell.So after being molested, four trips to rehab, one trip to county jail, hundreds and hundreds of AA and NA meetings, I ended up homeless, helpless and all alone. I had finally reached bottom when I suffered a massive stroke. I was on a quest to find the truth. I did't know what that was at the time. I explored every possible avenue and had to dig deep to find the strength to carry on.I heard it once said "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." By all accounts, I should not even be alive today. But I am. My hope is to show others how to take the hardships that life dishes out and use them to become stronger. No matter what life brings or how horrible things become, there is always a way out.
